"Uniting Christian & Jewish Clergy from Around the World"

"Add an Event" Tutorial

  1. Type the event name (i.e., Prayer for Jerusalem, Healing to the Nations Conference, etc.).
  2. If you have an event logo or image you want to use to represent your event, click the "Event Image" camera icon to display the "Upload an Image" dialog box.
  3. Click the "Upload an image from your computer" option.
  4. Click the Browse button to open the "Upload File" dialog box.
  5. Select the image file you want to use and click the Open button. The system will start uploading the image from your computer to this network.
  6. In "Description", type something about the event.
  7. In "Event Type", enter a brief descriptive type (i.e., pastors' conference, prayer vigil, Gospel meeting, etc.).
  8. Enter the beginning and ending date(s) and time(s).
  9. In "Location", type a general location (i.e., Bob & Mary's home, First Presbyterian Church, Internet, etc.).
  10. If appropriate, type a street, city and town address.
  11. If appropriate, type a website or map URL.
  12. Type the contact phone number.
  13. In "Organized by", if you are not the person organizing the event, type that person's name.
  14. "Privacy": If you want to indicate specific people to be invited to this event, click the "Private" option at the top right-hand section of the form.
  15. "Disable RSVP" check box: "RSVP" is a standard term used on invitations to request a response (will attend, will not attend, might attend). Check this box if you don't want people to respond.
  16. "Hide Guest List" check box: Check this box if you want to hide the list of members who are attending.
  17. Scroll down the page and click the Add Event button.
If you made the event "Public", the event summary with your event's name will display.
If you selected the "Private" option to invite specific people to your event, the "Invite to Event" page will display with options to import your address book from Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, AOL, or from your computer (if you use Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc.) or enter the email addresses manually.
After you have finished inviting specific guests, the event summary with your event's name will display [see above image].
  18. Don't worry if you make a mistake. You can always go back and edit your event anytime. Just click the Options button at the top of your event page, and then click Edit.

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
