Radiant Life Family Worship Church - Senior Pastor
2nd Assistant to the Presiding Prelate (Policy & Procedures) - Maranatha Faith Fellowship International

Bishop David M. Banks serves as the Founder and Senior Pastor of Radiant Life Family Worship Church. An innovative thinker, preacher and teacher he is driven to bridge the gap with leader's, teachers and lay people within the body of Christ. His pursuit for Excellence in ministry drives him towards the restoration of men, women and children from all walks of life. God has allowed Bishop to serve with various churches and headed several ministries.

Bishop David harbors the belief that their is no excuse for biblical ignorance in or out of the pulpit. He has attended the following Schools: Eastern Bible College, Hugee Theological Institute and New York Theological Seminary. Bishop David's goal is to obtain an earned doctorate degree in Divinity.

After attending school he still sensed that God was preparing him for something greater and it was during this time that he submitted and connected with Bishop George Searight at Abundant Life Family Worship Church in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He served under Bishop Searight for six years and credits Bishop George Searight towards depositing in him a pursuit of Excellence in ministry. It was during this time that Bishop-designate adopted his theme for ministry "The 5 Phases of Kingdom Excellence". Bishop David proclaims that the 5 Phases for Kingdom Excellence produces a process for Radiant Living. Bishop David promotes the paradigm "Higher in Our Praises, Closer in our Worship, Deeper in the Word.

In 2005 Bishop David attended a breakfast and met for the first time Apostle Cynthia Smith who gave Bishop David and Lady Leah a life changing word. Bishop David then met with Bishop Searight to give and submit the prophetic word of the LORD that was spoken over his life.

After careful prayer and consideration, Bishop David and Lady Leah embraced their assignment and relocated to Houston, Texas. Bishop David started having bible study in Mother Adams house on Friday nights and the study continued to grow. Soon they added a Sunday morning service and began to nurture the vision of RLFWC.

In January of 2009, at the Annual Conclave of Maranatha Faith Fellowship International, Bishop was appointed by Bishop Diante' Waldon - to serve as the Regional Bishop for the Southwest Diocese of Maranantha and was subsequently designated to the Office of Regional Prelate in July of 2010. During the annual conclave Bishop David was appointed as the 2nd Assistant to the Bishop Diante' Waldon - Presiding Prelate. Bishop David was consecrated to the prelature on July 17, 2010, during the Annual Holy Convocation. Bishop David has a passion for developing and equipping church leaders for Kingdom Excellence. .

Bishop David has been married to his best friend and the love of his life Lady Leah for over 20 years. They have been blessed with four loving children, David Jr., Kierra, Ashley and Mikaila.
