Education & Development Opportunity – Uganda (EDOU) is a ministry inspired to demonstrate the love of Christ in the communities in Uganda by providing access to education to children and young people otherwise unable to. With over 8 million Ugandans living under absolute poverty, children from the country's poor population find it strenuously difficult to attain an education. At 71% school drop out rate, over a million children are not schooling, and at college level, students fail to complete their degree programs due to lack of tuition or research fees. We believe that intervening in these areas of practical need is demonstrating the gospel of Jesus Christ. So through the Access to Education Program EDOU supports in schools children from deprived homes by paying for them school fees and providing school supplies as we plan to build own schools and health facilities so we can support more children and improve their health and wellbeing. The ministry also supports needy college students through the Brian Mutebi Dream Scholarship Fund.

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.
We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
