I am the Pastor of Christian Non-Denominational Church in Bogalusa, La. God called me five years ago and I fought it for 2 years. God has a way of letting you know he is in charge. So, at the end when he told me to be about his business, I went looking for the church he showed me in a vision. I found that church and it was empty and it was given to me. It is not open and in full bloom. I have worked hard in doing all the jobs that I am capable of doing from carpentry, plumbing and electrical. I can do those things from my daddy's teaching. But I preach from My Father's teaching. I am married for 42 years, have 2 children, 4 foster children, and 5 grandchildren.

Disturbed

Have you ever been disturbed by how people talk about the Bible or God? Well, while waiting at a VA hospital with my husband the other day we got into a coversation about God, Jesus and the Bible. One man said he only believed in God and blamed a specific group for our problems which bothered me, for my church prays for these people all the time. They are the chosen people of God. He said Jesus was a a good prophet but nothing else. My husband, another young woman and myself were amazed. One woman possibly in her late 70's said the same and that God told her to only believe the first Chpt of Genesis. I ask how she could believe part and not the whole Bible. She told me it was written by men. The young lady told her it was inspired by God. She disagreed and said she had died and God told her this. I wanted to ask if she was sure she was talking to God. I have died on the operating table before also. Saw the light, headed for it, but was told to go forth for I was needed on earth. She said that was what she was told. Now, what would God want her to do? Come and tell us the Bible is a lie? I think not. We tried hard to convince these two that you can not pick and choose what is right. It is all right or it is all wrong. They are fence straddlers. But not believing in Jesus and salvation distrbed me. I told them in love, one day soon you will see that what you believe now, was the wrong thing. Pray for them.

Weary

I have had a man that has been attending our church for a year at least.  Always been respectable and kind and always believing in the Bible.  We have Wed. night Bible Study and it is really uplifting for our congregation.  The teenagers love it, because they get to ask questions and learn things that they have a hard time understanding.  During the 5 years of doing this, not once have we had a problem.  Then  last Wed., this man became a total different person.  He came out telling us that…

Prayer needed

Posted on November 11, 2010 at 11:23pm 1 Comment

I have stood in a lot of places and went through a lot of things. But this has been a day I never want to repeat and tomorrow may even be worse, if that is possible. My husband has been having some heart discomfirt for over a month now. And since he is a disabled Vet. he goes to a VA hospital. His cardiac test did not come back good. He has lost 55% of his heart and the other part is not functioning properly. He is fatigued, can't breathe and his blood pressure is just crazy. We have been… Continue

Salvation

Posted on October 25, 2010 at 11:47pm 1 Comment

I will ask you this as it is a very controversial subject in my area and on Christian TV programs. Should we not teach Salvation more. Should our children that understand, not have the opportunity to know what Christ did for them? Or do we get up in the pulpit and teach how wonderful everything is and God is a merciful God and He won't send anyone to Hell? Well, every time I preach God seems to put on my heart that Salvation is so important. So, I preach it with what ever else He gives me to…

Glory of Reaching the Lost

Posted on October 15, 2010 at 10:41pm 0 Comments

I had to share with you something new that is happening in my life. My son owns a Christian Book Store in our town. He has been ask to take over another business because the owners wife has cancer. They have all but given him the business. We all did a lot of praying on this and God just did the rest. But my son Jimmie had a

Christian Book Store to run, which he really enjoys. So, he came to me and said,"Mom, what do I do, how can I do both at one time, I can't, just trust anyone."…

Thank you Dr. Liz for your comments on MY TESTIMONY OF SALVATION

It is good when people share their testimony of salvation for it glorifies the Lord and helps others too to reach out to Him.

Could you please me share my testimony in whatever way you could so we could bless others too

With love and God bless

Thank you for your comments on the blog A WARNING ABOUT HELL.

I think the reason Ministers do not speak of this topic as they may not want to offend their members.  If this is so, I think we should please God by telling it like Jesus did and leave the choice with the people.

However, let us, you and I spread this message as much as we can for someone will take heed and be converted.

With love
