The year 2013 ushered in three milestones. Tomorrow my bride Karen and I will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. By all accounts our marriage should have ended in divorce. When I was growing up in the sixties my parents talked to me about entitlements. They said I was entitled to work hard and expect life to be hard. I was entitled to obey the law and respect my elders. I was entitled to keep my marriage vows and provide for my family even if I had to work two jobs.
