Darkness of ignorance (Rashad)

Love & Peace from Hope Development Organization. “Educating our children in the ways of peace and empowering our women as equal citizens is our Mission” It is difficult to work for Peace and Equality in an environment of deep-seated traditionalism. Terrorism, Political, instability, Bad economy, Weak information from Media, Wrong image, International laws & Policies of Foundations, Ignorance for this region made it more harder. WAIT PATIENTLY FOR THE LORD

Dearly Beloved,

WAIT PATIENTLY FOR THE LORD

“I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry” (Psalm 40:1 NIV).

After God rejected Saul as king of Israel and sent Samuel to anoint David as the next king (1 Samuel 15-16), David faced a lot of hostilities and troubles even from his brothers. He became a fugitive in his own country. He had to relocate his parents to a foreign country for safety (see 1 Samuel 22:3-4). He twice sought refuge with the enemies…

Holiness is Taboo in the Church

Holiness Is Taboo in the Church by Dr. Henry Aug 2011

Evangelicals in the 21st century do not take seriously the biblical call to holiness. This Christian discipline is now a thing of the past since we have become complacent in preaching holiness from our pulpits. The mere mention of this word sends chills down the spines of Christians, and the word holiness is synonymous with legalism. It is much easier to allow sin to be unchecked in our lives and we have become far too content with… Continue

A Blue Ribbon of Distinction

A Blue Ribbon of Distinction

Numbers 15:38-41

“Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: [39] And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the…

SHAPING THE DESTINY OF THE UNBORN .

We found that Jacob determined that faith of animals yet unborn. He determined those that would belong to him and those that would belong to Laban.  How do we shape the destiny of those unborn ?  Hoe do you shape the destiny of those yet to become born again and who have not joined our church ?

    1. THE FIRST WAY IS BY THE COVENANT BETWEEN YOU AND GOD ;. The future of the seed of Abraham had been settled by the covenant between God and Abraham before  the children were…

Walk In Integrity

Walk In Integrity

1 Kings 9:4-5

“And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: [5] Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father,…

Revelation Chapter 20

Revelation 20:1

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

The identity of this angel, although not disclosed, is most likely the Archangel Michael. He is surely the same angel from Revelation 9:1 who was given the key to open the bottomless pit at the Fifth Trumpet Judgment.

The angel also comes with a great chain, an understatement considering who must be bound with it, and for what length of time this…

Revelation Chapter 19

Revelation 19:1

After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!

"After these things..." After what things? After the seven Seal Judgments, after the seven Trumpet judgments, and after the seven Bowl judgments, the world has been decimated! After the destruction of the Great Harlot, the world's false religious system, and after the total destruction of Babylon, that great…

"FIRE FOR FIRE"

Dear Beloved,

"FIRE FOR FIRE"

"God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you" (2 Thessalonians 1:6 NIV).

The Nigerian Police used to have an anti-crime outfit named "Operation Fire for Fire." Their approach to crime used to be brutal and used to appear revengeful. At times, many Christians adopt the same approach against their perceived enemies. "An eye for an eye" (Exodus 21:23-25; Leviticus 24:19-20) is the popular adage they use to justify their…

When God Cannot Be Found

When God Cannot Be Found

Isaiah 55:6 "Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:"

This verse in Isaiah suggests a time when men cannot find God. I don't know about you, but to me, that is a…

IT'S TIME TO MOVE FORWORD.: TEXT DEUT; 1: 6

When there is heavenly transformation then there will be earthly transformation. When a man hates progress, he will not make progress.

Stop paying attention to your mockers focus your mind on your maker. When an idea comes from above , it keep you above .

Many people have died because they keep regretting their yesterday. Any man that is going up must expect a set up. When you are marching to the future there are some friendship that will be put aside , When your…

PRACTICAL LESSONS FOR TODAY THAT WE CAN LEARN FROM CALEB

Joshua 14:14 - "Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the Lord God of Israel."

One of my favorite personalities in the Word of God is a fellow by the name of Caleb. Usually we hear his name mentioned in conjunction with Joshua, with Joshua usually receiving most of…

QUICKENED BY FAITH

 2 Cor 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Eph 4:24

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

I recently began a new series entitled “Putting on the New Man” which I am very excited about, and hope it will be of an equal blessing for those of…

WICKEDNESS FOR GOODNESS

Dear Beloved,

WICKEDNESS FOR GOODNESS

"But as soon as Jeremiah finished telling all the people everything the LORD had commanded him to say, the priests, the prophets and all the people seized him and said, "You must die! Why do you prophesy in the LORD's name that this house will be like Shiloh and this city will be desolate and deserted?" And all the people crowded around  Jeremiah in the house of the LORD" (Jeremiah 26:8-9 NIV).

I was in a busstop waiting for a bus…

So, You Say Jesus Died For You?

So, You Say Jesus Died For You?

This question is obviously addressed to professing Christians. If the answer to this question is "yes", then the other obvious question is,why do we not live like it?

In our "Americanizing" or "Westernizing" of Christianity, something of the utmost, prime importance has been gotten away from to the extent that, for the most part, it is pretty much altogether left out of what it means to be a Christian.

If we really believe what…

"A Heart That Forgives"

                                                            A Word for Healing

                                                       “A Heart That Forgives”

Let It Go!!!!! Ask God to give you a heart that forgives; I did, not just one time but all the time. It is good to take inventory of our hearts and make sure there is no unforgiveness hiding in there; that we have not taken offense against anyone and allowed bitterness to sit up reign in…
